- Avoid loud patterns in your clothing
choices, tie dyes and stripes are fine, but solid colors work
best.
- Unless Abercrombie and Fitch are
paying you to endorse their clothing lines, try to avoid clothing
with words and whatnot as they can be distracting. However, your
school's name and logo/mascot are perfectly fine.
- Ladies; keep your make up simple,
and by all means bring it with you as it may need to be reapplied
during the shoot. If you request it, a Hair & Make Up Artist
can be provided for an additional cost.
- Fellas; I know your rough and tumble
and hard as nails...manly men, yes, I know, but please pay attention
to your shave and the cleanliness of your fingernails prior to
the shoot.
- Please feel free, even encouraged
to bring props to your session to add that touch that shows your
passions in your photographs. Are you a hunter? Bring your rifle
or shotgun. Archer? Bring your bow. Athlete? Bring your uniform
or a ball, letter jackets, even pets (just know I will hold you
responsible for Fido's messes).
- Casual clothing is dandy, but this
is a good time to play dress up and show folks how well you clean
up. Besides, you know how smart Grandma thinks you look in a tie.
- Tanners, tanners, tanners....If you
must, you must, but lets face it, this is Northern Michigan. If
you show up freshly bronzed in the dead of winter, everyone will
know you did the fake and bake...don't over do it.
- DO NOT use spray on tans before your
shoot.
- Get a good night's rest the day before
your shoot, raccoon eyes ain't pretty on anyone.
- I usually have music playing in the
studio, I find that it helps keep folks relaxed and makes the
shoot more enjoyable...feel free to bring your own music with
you,
- Speaking of being relaxed, the number
one thing you must bring with you is a positive attitude. I like
to have fun with my sessions, and I want you to have a good time,
too. But that can't be done if you're stiff and anxious. To that
end, feel free to bring a friend along with you if you think that
will help you be at ease.
Immediately following your session,
we will review your images on the computer (unless you elected to
have me shoot film). You will pick out the images you like best
and want retouched.
Your proofs will be ready in two to three weeks, one to two weeks
if you chose online proofing.
Prints are usually ready for pick up four to six weeks from the
date of order.
Prints must be ordered no later than
6 months from the date of the shoot. If they are not ordered within
that time frame, the files will be destroyed. |
